With 35 years of experience in the fence industry, Mart has a rich background as a cedar lumber mill and installation company specialist, focusing on the manufacturing of pre-assembled and pre-stained fence panels for large housing projects in Ontario, Canada. For over 20 years, he served as an instructor for the American Fence Association (AFA) in Waco, Athens, and Tulsa. When the North American Fence Contractors Association (NAFCA) was founded, he took on the role of Fence Training School (FTS) director in Sebring, FL, managing its operations.
Mart has also contributed significantly to industry governance, serving on the AFA board as both a Governor and a Director. Over the years, he has held all director positions on the Canadian Fence Industry Association (CFIA) board. Today, his passion for the FTS and education in the fencing industry remains a key focus, driving him to continue advancing industry standards and knowledge.
